Farm to Wear: A Mary Sachs Series Program

Farm to Wear: A Mary Sachs Series Program In-Person

This four-part program series will teach attendees the entire process for a Farm to Wear product. In the first class, we’ll learn how wool is sheared and sent to the fiber mill. The final three classes will be hands-on learning: how to spin fiber into yarn, how to dye yarn using items from nature, and how to crochet or knit the finished yarn into a wearable item. Fiber artist Courtney O'Donnell will teach this four-part series. No experience is required. All materials will be provided.

September 9: documentary screening

October 8: spinning fibers

October 22: dyeing spun yarn

November 12: crocheting and knitting creations with our spun, dyed yarn

1.5 hours. For ages 18+ years. Registration is required. Attendees are expected to attend all four classes.
