SUMMARY:Farm to Wear: A Mary Sachs Series Program
DESCRIPTION:This four-part program series will teach attendees the entire 
 process for a Farm to Wear product. In the first class\, we’ll learn how 
 wool is sheared and sent to the fiber mill. The final three classes will be 
 hands-on learning: how to spin fiber into yarn\, how to dye yarn using 
 items from nature\, and how to crochet or knit the finished yarn into a 
 wearable item. Fiber artist Courtney O'Donnell will teach this four-part 
 series. No experience is required. All materials will be provided.  
 \n\nSeptember 9: documentary screening \n\nOctober 8: spinning fibers 
 \n\nOctober 22: dyeing spun yarn \n\nNovember 12: crocheting and knitting 
 creations with our spun\, dyed yarn \n\n1.5 hours. For ages 18  years. 
 Registration is required. Attendees are expected to attend all four 
 classes.\n\nFunding support provided by the Mary Sachs Charitable Trust.\n
