NOTE: The November Sip and Speak will still be held as scheduled at East Shore Area Library on November 20. Please consider registering for this program instead.

Come sip some tea and let’s talk life, especially how we persevere, how we find hope, and how we define ourselves through it all. This book club features non-fiction titles with themes of pain, loss, love, strength, and triumph. Light refreshments will be served. 

September Pick: Crying in the Bathroom: A Memoir by Erika L. Sánchez 

October Pick: Down City: A Daughter’s Story of Love, Memory, and Murder by Leah Carroll

November Pick: Lakota Woman by Mary Crow Dog, Richard Erdoes (editor) 

1.5 hours. For ages 18+ years. Registration is required and separate for each month. ***Note: The October program will be held at St. Thomas Roasters, 5951 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg.***
