The 1619 Project: Justice In-Person
Join the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for a screening of episode 6 of The 1619 Project. Through Nikole Hannah-Jones’ family story and one Georgia community fighting for restitution, The 1619 Project: Justice examines the historical events that denied Black Americans the opportunity to build generational wealth and what is owed to descendants of slavery. There will be a panel discussion following the movie. Light refreshments will be served.
2 hours. For ages 16+ years. Registration is required.
