The 1619 Project: Fear (Episode 5) In-Person
Join The Library and the Harrisburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as we continue our 1619 Project discussion series. This episode explores how modern policing, surveillance, and the criminalization of Black Americans draws roots from the slavery era, fear of Black rebellion, and a centuries-long quest for freedom. Light refreshments and a panel discussion will follow.
