Cooking in Colonial America (Madeline Olewine Memorial Library) In-Person
Join us at The Library as we celebrate Women’s History Month by learning about the first known cookbook published in America, written by Amelia Simmons. Taste some of the early recipes used by Martha Washington when she entertained at Mount Vernon, the former residence of Martha and George Washington.
