The Year of Ghibli: Spirited Away (Japanese with English Subtitles Version) In-Person
Join us throughout 2024 as we celebrate some of Studio Ghibli’s most famous films. Each month will feature a different film by the Japanese production company, Studio Ghibli. All are welcome to join us. Some may not be suitable for very young children. Ratings are noted based on the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).
April: Spirited Away (rated PG, long runtime, and some scary scenes which may not be suitable for young children)
May: The Secret World of Arriety (rated G, some scenes may be difficult for young viewers)
About 2 hours. For families and people of all ages. Registration is required and limited. ***NOTE: For movies with 2 screenings/month, one will be shown as the English dubbed version and one will be shown in Japanese with English subtitles.*** For teens ages 15-19 years, there are separate and monthly registrations for the Studio Ghibli Podcast.
