Speech Links to Literacy In-Person

Is your child headed to kindergarten in the Fall of 2024? If so, come check out Speech Links to Literacy!  Heidi Haas MS, CCC-SLP/L, a speech-language pathologist at Capital Area Intermediate Unit, has paired with DCLS to offer a special story time focused on speech sound production and early literacy skills. You and your child will participate in activities to promote speech and language skills and learn how to use library books to make reading together a fun and rewarding experience at home. Siblings are welcome to attend!  Due to the instructional level of the program, registered children must be at least 4 years of age and preparing to enter kindergarten in Fall 2024.

1.5 hours. For ages 4-5 years. Registration is required and limited. ***This is a recurring program. Register once to be signed up for all dates in this session running April 11th- May 30th.***
